From Outdated to Trendy, this driveway in Arundel had an old stencil with fading colours and some cracks through it. An additional slab had been added to enable the homeowner to use the gate but was uneven and not coloured.

Our client is also considering selling her property and we have no doubt the kerb appeal we created will not only help her selling more easily, but also increase the value of the property.

After repairing the cracks with our dedicated epoxy, we proceeded to make that pattern disappear prior to resurface from kerb to front door.

We achieved a P5 slip rating as well as a 45 MPA coating and our client was able to walk on the driveway after only 2 days of curing.

This two parts project combined a patio at the back of the house and the steep driveway at the front.

The homeowners, Joel & Gemma, were tired of the pebblecrete for a few good reasons:

The first one was safety, indeed, the steep driveway had a very poor slip rating and not only did the cars struggle to get up without spinning their wheels, the home owners where slipping down when bringing the bins to the road.
The second was aesthetic, lots of pebbles were coming loose and leaving empty patches. The concrete was stained between the pebbles due to the red soil.
Finally maintenance was an issue, it was close to impossible to make the pebblecrete look clean.

We fixed all these problems and heavily sealed the resurfacing to make it as resistant to red soil and other contaminants as possible. The homeowners can now clean the entire surface in 5 minutes and drive their cars up and down without difficulties as well as walk up and down confidently.
